Of all the places I have ever been, Laos is the one to which I would love to return most. The only problem with the getting drunk and passing out thing was, as I recall, that there was a 10pm curfew or something similarly draconian in place while we were there. Which was Christmas :( Not that getting drunk on Christmas is normal, just that curfews certainly aren't! @Audrey I feel a bit better then. Clearly I am not the only one who has strayed from the path. @Candice Yeah - he found it hysterical. It was me who was a little too grumpy to see what was actually a pretty sharp joke, all things considered. @AdventureRob – I love Luang Prabhang.
